Kelley Pomis is a veteran educator and host of the Teacher Renewed Podcast. As an expert in teacher development and leadership she has shared her thinking on the TedX stage as well as having received award recognition in both her community and education.
Kelley likes people to know she is a “wife and mom who works” putting her role as wife of Aaron (a fellow educator) and mom to her two amazing boys, first and foremost. (How dare anyone call her a “work loving mom”!)
With degrees in human development, teaching, and leadership, and learner of life, Kelley shares her experiences vulnerably and honestly and never shies away from sharing the many lessons she has learned from her experiences.
As a teacher, school administrator, school board member, and teacher coach, Kelley has over two decades of experience helping educators turn classrooms into transformative spaces for both teachers and students. Kelley empowers educators to expand their impact and grow their ability to sustain in this work.
Knowing just how challenging work in education is (especially right now), Kelley has committed herself to finding balance and joy in all things she does. She believes, “We are not alone in this work and it is imperative to have other educators in our lives see teachers as humans first.”
